"Shelter In"
Dear Friends and Family,
“Shelter In” is a term everyone has come to know and know very well.
It has been a trying time for many people. It’s almost as if your Mother told you to go to your room, close the door and don’t come out for a month and a half or even longer. If your Mother was in a court of law, she would be found guilty of cruel punishment. She would try to say that it was for your own good. But that wouldn’t matter. Her child would be taken away from her. She would be fined X numbers of dollars $$$$ and put in jail for XXX numbers of days. But yet that is where we find ourselves, not being permitted to leave your home.
In Michigan you can only leave your home to go to the store and buy food, and to the drug store for medicine, but can’t buy anything else while you’re there, but you are allowed to leave your home to buy Tobacco, Liquor, and Lottery Tickets. You can’t leave your home to buy a potted plant, but you can leave your home to buy POT (Marijuana). If you own two homes in Michigan, you can’t travel between them, but if you own a home in Michigan and one in another state, you are allowed to travel to your out of state home and come back to your home in Michigan. You can go boating, but you can’t have a motor on it. You can mow your lawn, but you can’t have your neighbor mow it for you, even if you don’t own a lawn mower of your own. What’s wrong with that picture?
Don’t get me wrong. I think we should do all we can to help stop the spread of COVID-19. I believe we should stay 6 feet apart, wearing a mask when not able to stay the 6 foot distance from someone, covering your cough and sneeze, washing your hands and sanitizing. But in the midst of all this we can still praise the Lord.
The devil is sowing fear into our minds, but we don’t have to fear in times like this. Here are a few things God has to say:
Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."
Isaiah 25:4 For You (God) have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones (COVID-19) is as a storm against the wall.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
Psalms 61:4 I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.
Psalms 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
1-Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Almost every night we have been watching several preachers and evangelists on ‘You Tube’. As well as Sunday Services on ‘Face Book Live’. But there isn’t anything that can take the place of being together with the saints of God in person.
Being Evangelists, Lena and I aren’t accustomed to staying at home. It has been a real struggle not being able to go out and minister. It’s not just ministering inside the churches, but ministering outside of the church as well. No matter where we go, God puts someone in our pathway to pray for.
Last year in December 2019 Christie B called us and told us about a friend of hers, Pastor Dr. Daniel who had fourth stage stomach cancer and was given only six month to live. I told her we would pray over a prayer cloth and send it to him. I included a news letter entitled “The Cancer Cure” along with a prayer to recite. He text me back and thanked me for sending the prayer cloth, prayer, and news letter. This March 2020 he was retested and they found no sign of the stomach tumor. Instead of six months to live, Jesus healed him in three months. “Jesus is truly the cancer cure”. We have prayed for many people with fourth stage cancer and Jesus healed them. No matter what you are fighting, Jesus is your answer.
Due to the virus outbreak and the Shelter In stay at home order, we had to stop almost all ministry, except for praying for people over the phone. But before the churches were forced to close, due to the virus, we were able to minister in seven churches and seen many people healed, receiving Jesus into their hearts, and recommit their lives to the Lord. Jesus healed a woman that couldn’t turn her neck without pain. Another that couldn’t raise her arm due to a bad rotator cuff was healed and able to raise it with out any pain. A young girl’s feet were pointed inwards, Jesus straightened them. A lady that couldn’t stand for any length of time without pain in her feet due to having flat feet, God gave her new arches. A lady was seeing spots in her eyes, God took the spots out of her eyes and she could see clearly. God healed many people with back and knee problems.
That first case of the COVID-19 virus dates back to November 17, 2019, according to the South Morning China Post. On that same date of November 17, 2019 I gave this message to Refreshing Fountains C.O.G.I.C., and the Lord had me give that same message to every church since. It is found in
2Chronicles 7:14 "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Proverbs 3:5-8; "Trust in the Lord with all your heart". The Lord had me give that message to the Afro-American, Spanish, and White Churches. At the time I didn't know why the Lord wanted me to give the same message to all the churches until now. And now the Churches have been closed due to COVID-19. I don't think this was a coincident that the Holy Spirit gave me that message for the church. After giving that message, many people received it and we were able to lead them through a prayer of repentance. It's time for the church to wakeup. Jesus is soon to come.
If you find yourself wanting to get closer to Jesus than you are now, maybe now is your time to make things right between you and Jesus, or if you would like to ask Jesus into your heart, know is your time. Jesus is soon returning and will be taking everyone to heaven that has repented, leading a sinless life and serving Him. There are only two places for you to spend eternity, heaven or hell, it’s up to you. If you decided heaven, then ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sin and wrong doing, and ask Him to come into your heart.
